This time I used ANA from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand. Currently, ANA and JAL are the only airlines that can be used when returning from Thailand to Japan. Thai Airways and AirAsia were not available as international flights are not in operation. By the way, there are 2-3 flights a week from Thailand to Japan. The price was 80,000 yen one way because there are few flights and the number of people who can ride at one time is limited. A common question is, do I need to apply for something when I return to Japan from overseas? I’m sure there are people who think that, but it was okay to buy a ticket on the web and fly as usual (in the case of Japan to Thailand).
When I arrived at the airport, there were some people (because domestic flights also operate). However, when I went inside the international terminal, the shop was open but there were almost no people. The lights were almost turned off and the atmosphere was dim. About 30 people were on the day to Japan. The breakdown was about half and half, Thai and Japanese.
There was one person sitting on each of the left and right windows, so it was very comfortable with no one next to me.
When I got on the plane, I was given the documents, filled in the necessary items, and submitted it when I arrived at Haneda. There were two meals, one immediately after the flight and two hours before landing. The first time, water and snacks were handed in the bag. The second time was a system where the menu was handed over and selected before being brought. CA also put on vinyl gloves on the mask and disinfected alcohol every few hours.
As soon as I arrived at Haneda Airport, I couldn’t go outside, so I went to the waiting gate to check the documents, and then I had a saliva test. The test result (negative) was found in about 30 minutes earlier than I expected. Then, when I went to the conveyor belt to pick up my luggage, Mr. CA had already packed my luggage in the cart. When I suddenly saw my luggage, there was a message card from ANA’s CA at the tag, and I felt Japanese-style consideration and compassion.
When I leave the arrival gate, I can’t use trains or buses, so I have to arrange a rental car by myself or go home with my parents’ pick-up, but this time I will go home with my parents’ pick-up and wait at home for 14 days. did. By the way, it seems that the only planes arriving from overseas on this day are from Thailand and another country. Therefore, the Haneda Airport was very quiet with only the employees and the people who arrived.
This experience was so valuable that I thought it was probably the first and last in my life. I rarely have the opportunity to take an international flight under the circumstances of Corona, so I wrote this article because I wanted to share my experience with you.
It’s been a little long, but thank you for reading to the end. From now on, reviews of places I have traveled to will be the main focus, but I would be grateful if you could refer to this blog when it becomes possible to travel to Thailand. See you again. Kopunkar.
